Andre the Giant to be Featured on N.C. Highway Historical Marker
A man who achieved global fame as a professional wrestler and movie star soon will be recognized with a North Carolina Highway Historical Marker. The marker commemorating Andre René Roussimoff, known as Andre the Giant, will be dedicated Thursday, April 23, at 4:30 p.m., at the intersection of NC 73 and Old NC 220 in Ellerbe, NC.
