Water Sample Test Results: Inorganic Chemistry
Testing of drinking water for inorganic chemicals.Water samples from both public and private water systems are examined for chemical and/or physical parameters. A private water system (homeowner) can obtain chemical analyses from the State Laboratory only if the sample is submitted through the local health department. These samples are routinely analyzed for alkalinity, arsenic, calcium, chloride, copper, hardness, lead, iron, magnesium, manganese, pH, fluoride, and zinc.

Wells: Testing your Private Well Water
Private well water samples can be submitted to the State Lab through the local health department. The test results are returned to the local health department within three (3) weeks.
