Nonprofits & Business
REPORT your COVID-19 activities and volunteer hours.
A statewide NC Nonprofits Survey was launched by North Carolina’s Office of Strategic Partnerships (OSP) and the North Carolina Center for Nonprofits (NCCN). The survey, offered in English and Spanish, was sent to more than 20,000 nonprofit email addresses provided by the Secretary of State's Office. Thanks to over 2,000 people who took time to respond to the survey, we now have a more nuanced picture of North Carolina’s nonprofit sector during COVID-19—including experiences, needs, gaps, and opportunities.

Hurricane Season
Hurricane season starts June 1 – pandemic or no pandemic. Prepare now to protect your home before storm season by doing these quick things:
- Take pictures of home inventory, important documents (proof of home ownership, insurance) and rabies certificates for pets. Email them to yourself or back them up to the cloud.
- Make sure you have all contacts in your mobile phone or available remotely.
- Make sure your insurance is up to date, and consider flood or wind insurance where appropriate.
Need help with hurricane recovery? Contact NCVOAD (Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster), ReBuild NC, or call 211 for more information.
